Q. Do you receive funding from the government?
A. We do not receive any form of government funding.
 
Q.  Are all the Food Drying Operations in Canada operating under the same board?
A.  No, we are all independent groups who have our own board of directors and operate independently but cooperatively.
 
Q. How do you find fresh produce?
A. Fresh product is received from greenhouses, vegetable processing operations, local vegetable and fruit growers and distribution centers.   Delivery or pickup arrangements can be made through individual food drying operations.
 
Q. Can I buy a bag of the finished product?  Can I take two bags on a trip with me?
A. We do not sell any of our products.  Each operation has their own policies regarding distribution requests.  Please contact the operation closest to you for more information.
 
Q. How can I get involved?  Do you need help?
A. There is always room for one more volunteer at our operations.  If you are looking for a great volunteer experience, please visit the volunteer page for the operation nearest you for more information. .
